Paula Reyes is a Raleigh native. She graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she majored in Biology with minors in Spanish and Anthropology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she worked as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice and quickly realized she couldn’t imagine herself in any other specialty. She obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University in 2021 and has been practicing in dermatology ever since. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She has completed their Diplomate Fellowship program and is a volunteer distance education committee member.
Paula is eager to build strong relationships with her patients and has a passion for skin cancer surveillance and early detection. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on the Tar Heels, relaxing at the coast, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her fiancé and their affectionately named ‘zoo’ of pets.
