Dr. Vivian Lei is a dermatologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Lei earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, graduating with distinction from Yale University, before receiving her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. During medical school, she was selected as a Duke Physician-Scientist Research Fellow and received multiple research fellowship awards to investigate the mechanisms of wound healing and skin immunity.
Dr. Lei completed a preliminary internship in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital, followed by her dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She is committed to combining the latest scientific evidence with an individualized, patient-centered approach to help patients achieve healthy skin and feel confident in their care.
In her free time, Dr. Lei enjoys rock climbing and exploring the outdoors with her husband.
